Black Caesar was an African Chief that was tricked into stepping foot on a ship where he was then sold into slavery. He escaped the slave ship with the help of a sailor that he befriended and eventually the two found themselves as pirates robbing other ships. The ship they were originally on sunk in a thunderstorm. Later Black Caesar would find himself working with Blackbeard on his pirate ship the Queen Anne’s Revenge.
